Signing for a mortgage out of state

I need some help with refreshing my memory. I have a friend who would like me to sign loan docs for an investment property out of state. I know that I need an additional form, but forgot the name of it.

Please help!

If you are signing the loan docs in California, you'll need to use the CA Ack and Jurat forms for the documents you notarize.

I don't know of any "additional form" you would need or what you may be referring to.

Are you new to loan signing?

Yes I am. Can you tell. The Jurat is what I was trying to remember. This is my first signing. I am just nervous, and don't want to mess it up.

thanks for the help!

Be certain you know...

when to use the Jurat and when to use the Acknowledgment.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [e-mail address]

Best of luck to you.
