Signix and NNA
Do YOU trust Signix with all your confidential ino to get a "Mandated CBC for the NNA" Did the federal govt. appoint them in the GLB Act to collect this information on State Comm. Notaries Public? Did all employees of Signix pass CBCs? Who tested them?

I had a breif conversation with someone there. A woman with no answers. I did not come away with the feeling that they were particulary organized or trained. At least not anyone willing to talk to me. She had no answers to those questions.

As usual, you've nailed it...
as Harry has said, and many of us have echoed, it's best to wait until 2007 before doing anything.

FWIW and FYI, go to signix.com
They state that they are a subsidiary of Sungard, a $4B annual revenue company. Until recently Sungard was a public company but was bought by private inestors for $11B

Actually, they overpaid big time. They did not realize.....
that they would need to hire thousands of new employees just to monitor the discussion of this issue on NSA message boards Have a great weekend, all Go Bears.

Thank you Bob ,but that dosen't answer the questions. Enron was a much larger public ompany. A private company is not subject to as many rules that a public co. is required to meet. They can state anything they want.

Posted last night but here it is again
Check out the website of the company that is doing the "background check". Their phone number is 877-890-5350. The answer the phone. "Thank you for calling Sunguard Signix customer care for the NNA". I was told by the receptionist that if I wanted information, I could check out their website at www.signix.com.
Happy reading!

Sungaard--Is real
Sungarrd is one of the major software providers to banks, credit card companies and brokerage firms. If they are a sub of Sungaard, they likely know what they are doing.
