Test fax please

If someone would be so kind I just installed a new fax and need to test it, 209-727-3475 the instructions are a little confusing I need to see if it will work with my answering machine. part of instructios say it will and part say it will not.

you're welcome, my pleasure. I got a "distinct ring" from my phone company to handle the fax, everything's the same except the number and it rings on my exsisting line, just a double ring. Costs a little extra each month but doesn't get in my way with my regular line.
