The Scammers & the Sad Stories

I'll be glad when this week is over with! I know we all see the sad stories and the scam artists at work, but I've had THREE this week.
#1). 87 yr. old man has his niece get back in touch with him ("she's a gem"Wink so he re-fi'ed his property to give her $20,000.00 to invest for him. Her job? Teachers aide. (I know.. not my business).
#2). Older couple working with one loan officer, another lo calls 'em and tells them the lo they were working with is on "leave" and he's got the file. I go close the loan, borrower calls me and tells me that the FIRST loan officer calls 'em to tell 'em the loan is now ready to close.. at a much lower interest rate. Scammer loan officer. (I know.. not my business).
#3). Lady has stomach stapled, looses 170 pounds (yepper.. 170 lbs). Meets "Mr. Wunnerful" on line (oh boy) and MARRIES him after knowing him 4 weeks. He moves in (she's wifey #3) and she re-fi's.. puts his name on title and is "giving" him $30,000.00 to clear up his old debts. (I know.. not my business).
One thing for sure.. this business has taught me alot about handling my own finances.
Onto the next sad,scammer closing.
