Transstateclosers
Just an F.Y.I.. I have been in the business for over 4 years. I'm sure my fellow notaries will agree, it's not everyday you find a signing company that supports and appreciates the work you do for them.
At the top of my list of companies to work for is Trans State Closers (transstateclosers.com).
The personal attention they give to insure your job will go as smooth as possible, is untouchable. They stand behind their notaries every step of the way.
Just a simple thank you to Mr. Jim Coffey and his excellent staff!!

Did the wonderful Mr Coffey inform you that they do not pay if the loan does not close.....I am currently going through the BBB to try to collect from them. I spent an hour and a half at a borrowers office while the borrower was on the phone with a loan officer who was trying to doubletalk the borrower and tell him that that an adjustable rate was "very similar to a fixed rate". Borrower wouldnt buy it and I dont blame him however I still expect to be paid in full after printing docs and driving 35 miles and sitting there for 90 minutes.

I'm glad to hear you had a good experience with them - unfortunately, mine was not so pleasant...I've read some very good things about them here but it didn't work out for me.

I did a closing for them a few weeks ago. The next day, they send me a six page "contract." Said that I could not get paid unless I filled it out and faxed them back 11 required pages of information.
I agree with what someone the other day said regarding contracts. I accept an order, you send me a confirmation and that's a contract. I do the gig, return the docs and you send me a check within a month or so. That's the gist of it.
I've never had this happen. Do a closing, then have to submit all of this other "stuff" in order to get paid.
