Update on TitleStream payment issue

I e-mailed Christopher McLucas this morning (my second e-mail to him) about my outstanding invoices - got a return e-mail saying he'll look into them Tuesday when he gets back from NY - so some progress - at least this time he acknowledged the e-mail.

How late are they with payment? I have a company with an outstanding inv. from July. I wrote the "last and final" threatening letter to them 10 days ago and still haven't received payment. I said in the letter that I would contact the BBB, lender, SOS and Atty. Gen's. office if payment wasn't received. I contacted the BBB so far, they didn't care. I'll try Countrywide on Monday. The SOS Tuesday, etc... Don't you just wish we could get paid for services rendered and not have to deal with this extra work? Fortunately, it doesn't happen with too many of them.

One invoice is 6 weeks, one 5 weeks - but I read some people had a payment issue with this company back in April and it took some pushing to get paid, but they did finally get paid - I decided to nip it in the bud and started contacting them at 30 days - the scheduler was really nice to work with and I'd like to think I can resole this with them without filing any formal complaints.

Re: 9 wk. TitleStream payment issue

I have you beat Linda. I have an invoice at nine weeks and Mr. Lucas still hasn't answered my email. Contacted the scheduler, got voice mail of course with no call back. These people need help, I personally can't afford to wait that long for payment, there is not enough volume in my area to let invoices hang out there.

Re: Well - at least I got a response to my e-mail this time

We'll see what Tuesday brings - if I don't hear from him by end of business that day (phone or e-mail) I'll start calling again Wednesday A.M..

Re: Well - at least I got a response to my e-mail this time

I get no response from Christopher Lucas about an unpaid August closing. David Cox on the other hand has given me responses ranging from the accountant is out with laryngitis to the check is in the mail. I am getting the impression they like to rip off notaries as much as they can get away with it.
