"Notary feared for her life"

Anyone else catch the news about the notary in the Hawks' murder case?
She testifies in court that she not only backdated, but then destroyed her journal and seal. And for what? The All Mighty Dollar.
Yes.. we all like to make the "mean green", but that little chickie went WAY too far!
If someone offers you LOTS of $ to do something illegal, run, run, run.

Wow! and Good morning to you PJM! What was she thinking. If you are ever threatened you go to the POLICE.

Have a Great Week-end.

Carole, I happened to have a minute and wanted to know also. So, given what I had I fired up Google.com and put in:

"notary hawks murder case" on the off chance that it was a murder case. Returned was this page: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=gmail&q=notary%20hawks%20murder%20case

And, that happened to be the winning combination.

This is just a small lesson in finding info online. I recognize that many people do not have to use the internet each day to find info on a ton of subjects and do not mean this as a criticism but to offer a challenge to people wanting to know more about anything to use Google, Yahoo, Altavista, Msn to learn anything their little hear desires. Fire up Google and use it.

Knowing how to find info is like KNOWING. Enjoy.

Holy Smokes!

Another typical example of dollar signs dancing in the moonlight. She needs to have a cell right close to the rest of them....gotta love karma.

Good Morning Susan

I'm doing much better and thank you for asking. Trying this and trying that, ya know it's amazing how "little in touch" we are with our bodies. With me it's that bottom number that's out of control and I'm learning how to be aware of it. I'm changing several habits and paying attention to how that BP reacts. For instance, I have learned that just sitting quietly does NOT work. ROFLMAO! Yesterday I went out and began raking the zillions of leafs that have fallen and figured for sure I'd need to call 911. Guess what? It was lower that simply sitting quietly! I'm keeping a diary so that the Dr. can better understand my life style and what effects it. Thursday is the big Dr. Day....I'll report back after he and I sit and talk.

Re: Good Morning Susan-Hi Sue....Yes I agree out raking

leaves is better then sitting, however don't forget to rest. The mental stress one can put on yourself can rise that BP. I always try to stay busy.....each winter after the first arrival of snow, I shovel....I also shovel a little, rest a little, many heart attacks happen from shoveling snow. The dairy is an excellent idea, I started one many years ago on my health, mainly because I was having major health issues and I just couldn't remember all the surgery dates.....I will be waiting to hear about your appointment results. Keep up the great work.....

I remember when this happened

It was plastered all over the news. I don't remember hearing anything about the notary until right now. She sounds quite full of baloney to me.

Oh my gosh, I read about this in my favorite sailing magazine "Latitudes & Attitudes." The Hawks’ wrote articles frequently for the magazine and the magazines editor Bob B!tchin, was very close with the couple. I’ve followed the story in the magazine, but don’t remember reading about the notary.

Hello! Just goes to show what can happen to you if you choose to do things the wrong & illegal way.
