cfacts- for anyone else with payment issues

After sending invoices in September & October, left voice mail messages 11/10/06 & again today (neither of which were returned by the lady in accounts payable), I finally called a 2nd time today and asked to speak with someone and not a voice mail. A person who works in accounts receivable told me she would tell me the "truth" and that a person had left accounting and the accounting system had crashed...acknowledging that neither of these were my problem....and that they have had several calls about payment and are working to get things straightened out. However, I was unable to get her to tell me when I could expect payment on my invoices that are now over 60 days old. She said she was keeping up with the calls from persons with whom she had spoken and would herself give me a call to update me on payments.

Has anyone else had a similar response with regard to late payment?

Yes, Ginger... I, too, had a payment issue with them and was told the same thing. (This was several weeks ago)
True to their word, I did receive payment when promised. I see no reason at this point to disbelieve what you have been told. I personally would not hesitate to accept future assignments from them, as they were straight with me and met my fee.

I too had to call them several times. On 11/15 I received payment for a signing completed on 10/6. I was told that the lady in accounting was on vacation and she was the one who issued checks.

It usually takes them over 50 days to pay. Lousy system.

I'm having serious payment issues that are similar to yours: The person in charge of paying the invoices left, there was a problem with the system, the current person in charge of accounts will not return my phone calls, I've asked to speak with the owner and that has not happened. I think it's a crock. I keep getting calls to do signings, no checks from September to present. The company is Signatures Plus. I don't know if this is there usual way of doing business. I suspect that it is.

cfacts update-Received call that payment is in mail

This morning I received a call from Eva at cfacts that a check for the total of the 2 signings done for them over 60 days ago is being mailed today. Not "counting my chickens before they are hatched," but I can already visualize the dual tray printer in my office that will be purchased with the check.
