lfc

I did the signing for LFC/Delta
I am curious what any charges for this company.. and gets.. She claimed to have paid me more than there going, which was quite low considering I had to do what seemed like a two for one signing... This was my first signing w/ them that was for delta and LFC and I feel I did two appts for one cost as the all the notarized and signature docs were duplicates, then 2 sets of faxbacks and two sets of fed ex

They often are listed on the HUD....if you check the HUD, you can see what they are making.

uhh, yes, I know
I am asking what notaries are able to request for their fee and get as I feel this is a 2 for 1

try re typing your request, the first one was so mangled that probably no one can make heads or tails out of it. For a newbie here, you sure have developed some attitude.

LFC has always treated me right

There money is good and quick and there's absolutely no surprises with their docs. For this particular LO they merely ask for 2 DOT's to be executed rather than one, it's a split package, not a double and the fax backs are the LO's requirement. The entire thing takes 10 extra minutes.

Well, I didn't read that from the post, but if you take my advice, you will see what they are getting from the lender, hence, you can ask for an appropriate fee.

Re: lfc thx mistarellaFl

But I am still curious what anyone gets as I think having to print two sets of duplicate docs (plus the bo gets the dups as I am printing all) and having to sign and notarize duplicate docs takes time and expenses. They offered 65, i said no and they moved to 100

Re: explain miny

(65/100) Still a low fee. LFC usually has substantial sz pkgs and... factor in a split. You could have requested 150+ I have only gained knowledge of this from trial and error. LFC is good about meeting fees (pay in a timely manner as well) I normally do not charge an extre fee for splits. the extra docs are sure worth another call to to explain your frustration (with a smile)and request a change of fees. Re: explain miny

I did ask and try to negotiate a fee appropriate for their split but she said that she has a ton of notaries who will do it including the printing of 130+ plus pages for $65 period... but she would pay me the 100....Unf it is probably true that there are a lot of notaries who do 50 - 65 packages... I only would in my zip and no printing....and if nothing else is going on...

thx

Zee, JMHO

When an independent contractor, you set your fees.
Just last night, for lfc, I quoted them $175 (and that was a low amount for this travel)
for an out of area refi and they declined.
I have to set my fees, and if the company won't pay it,
I can't help them, because I am doing this to make a living.
FWIW, I have seen the closing fees to lfc upwards of $400, and they have offered me $100.
If you do a search here, you may be able to see what they are offering or what others are accepting from them.
