nsas in low-saturation areas: this works
Got a call from a SS today. Told her I don't work for SSs. Politely.
20 min later got a call from TC for same loan. Met my fee.
HUD showed that I got $35 more than they would have paid the SS.
Hang tough!

I totally agree. It does work for low saturation areas.

So the SS bounces it back.....
saying they cannot find a notary and the TC finds you here or another notary database. Well how often does this work, do you get a call back say 50% of the time. I'm in an area with few notaries myself.

Larry
In my area this works 85%+ of the time.
There are only 4 nsas in my area. If I can get each one to never take less than $100 we will all get decent fees for our work. SSs or not. Otherwise we are shooting ourselves in the collective foot.
This is not price fixing. We each charge whatever we want for eDocs, distance, etc.
I am meetg w/ ea nsa in the next few wks. I have hopes.
Try this in yr area. Others have made it happen.

Jason, Re: nsas in low-saturation areas: this works
On Notary Rotary alone, there are about 50 (plus) notaries posted within 6 miles of me. Seems like everyone (including their aunt and uncle) is a notary in my service areas (parts of Los Angeles and Orange counties, CA). And some signing services will quickly point this out, when discussing fees.
