question?
I'm commissioned in Colorado. Borrowers live in Nebraska. I'm wondering if it is legal for us to meet in colorado to conduct their refi?

I see no problems...my wife's family (and her) are from Nebraska...and if they come HERE (to Nevada)...I COULD (though I wouldn't) do a refi for them here...after all, they are in MY neck of the woods...irregardless of where the property is...so, I see no problem...."I am not a lawyer and do not give any advice which can be construed as legal advise or opinion." JMHO.

Hi Kellie! Yes, you can do that. I've had BO's come in from New Mexico, Kansas and Nebraska. As long as the notarization takes place in CO you'll be fine. Have a good one!

In Ca, a commissioned notary can provide notorial
sevices ANYWHERE in the state of California.

What does your law say. In Florida, I can only act as a notary in FL. Ask your TC.

Re: question? - Deborah
She isn't asking about notarizing in another state, she is asking if it is OK for her to notarize the loan docs if the borrowers travel to her state for the signing.
