4:00 AM Signing!!!
I received e-docs from a Title Co. and had NO idea they were coming! Turns out they are for the same person I signed last week (on the Navy ship), but this was a another purchase (2 loans). They are thru the same mortgage co, so I called the LO who was very apologetic and said he was told they wouldn't be ready till Friday. Well, Mr. Sailorman is shipping out tomorrow and not coming back to port until Friday morning. To make a long story short, after much explaining to Mr. LO about "dates" (docs dated 10/04/06) we ended up with a signing at 4:00AM
Rest be assured, I'm being paid well for it

Hmmm...4AM your time is 6AM my time...
...since you'll already be awake why don't you call me and make sure I'm up and doing my exercises. Sometimes I shut off my alarm without realizing it. (smile) Good for you for landing such a good gig. Just make sure you're off the ship before it leaves the dock!

Re: 4:00 AM Signing!!! Good for you
I've always wondered if what a person charges for a midnight signing is the same for a signing in the wee hours of the morning such as yours.
What time did you get up from bed for this one?

FWIW Jenny, I block my time out so that my charges are
consistent. I have a regular fee which I charge between 9AM and 10PM then I have a charge for the tme 10PM to 9AM with an appropriate premium for Sundays and Holidays. I usually like to schedule my appointments myself because often the people scheduling the appoitnments don't understand and just set appointmetns arbitrarily. I usually can work with the borrower to make everyone one happy including myself. TTFN

There's no alarm clock like cash...
except maybe a fishin' trip
or
Christmas presents
or
a lover's pea-shooter (I've been told)

How exciting to get to board the Navy ship not once but twice and get paid plenty to do it. What a thrill. Let us know how it goes.

It went great. Caught up on about 2 hrs of sleep afterwards, and I'm off to another signing! My husband's day off is Wednesdays and it seems I always get alot of business for that day...figures.
