I know we all have the oldy moldy invoice we have yet to be paid for, and sending out the statments can be a chore. I see alot of people are all reasy to call the BBB and send out a nasty gram, but sometimes "honey gets the bees".
I'm not an expert (nor do I claim to be), but often times, just ONE professional phone call (with honey on your lips) gets the payment in the mail.
As we are all not perfect, neither are the title co's and ss's we deal with. Sometimes our invoices fall through the cracks, and a "gentle" reminder is all it takes to get a check sent out. Not all co's are the SOX's of the world, and I have found that out.
If the first gentle phone call doesn't work.. then go on to the BBB. No one likes to be threatened or made to feel to like a failure...including those who may owe us some $. JMHO.
