Actualy the last five minutes WAS the great part. Dennis....
Green should have called 911 to report a robbery in progress. I understand that he may be looking for a job. If he can pass a CBC and get certified, I heard that Nations Direct is looking for a few good CNSAs. Maybe you can send him their PH # Your guys did a heckuvajob for about 97% of the game. It is still early in the season, but I have heard that Miami is very nice in early February.

It Figures...
...only you would come on the board "crowing" about a team who by their own admission didn't deserve to win. Your offense is limited to a single field goal; the Bears defense recovers not one, but two fumbles for touchdowns; your quarterback throws four interceptions & loses two fumbles; & finally it takes the opposing team's kicker missing a 41 yard attempt with under a minute left to "seal" the win. All of this against a team that's now 1-5. What a "win"! Here's a quote from one of the Bears' players after the game:
"In the NFL, when you have six turnovers, you lose," Bears defensive end Alex Brown said. "If you're fortunate enough to win, somebody upstairs is looking out for you."

that there might be a epidemic of cardinals choking. Stand by for further developments.

I love Arizona with all my heart, but they, like AL just don't have a NFL team.

Might be the name. NFL Cardinals have not....
been winners in three different cities now. And I agree, AZ is way cool. Been there a few times now, and it is a beautiful spot. Wish that I could go more often. Going to LasVegas soon. Will wave as we fly over the Grand Canyon.

Bob - You have to admit - pretty boy Leinart
was awesome. And how about our new stadium (at least the AZ Cardinals can lose in style)? AZ is used to losing teams. We have the Diamondbacks. All the good players have jumped ship.

Uh, Bob...
...I'm not the one breathlessly predicting my team is Super Bowl bound. Just pointing out a few flaws in your team's play that make them a little less than Super Bowl caliber, that's all. I've said from the first week of the baseball season that the Cardinals don't deserve to go anywhere. If they get beat by the Mets, it won't be "choking". The better team will have won.

If anymore of those games get postponed for rain they're gonna start getting postponed for snow!!!
The good part of the post season ended after the third game of the first round anyway.

I Don't Know Who Will Benefit the Most...
...from the rain delay. Earlier the forecast was for the sun to come out later today & even warm up to 75. Based on what I see the sun may not be coming out, but it is getting warmer & it's not raining. If the game were delayed again it might allow the Cardinals to bring back Chris Carpenter to face Tom Glavine. Pitching has been the downfall for both clubs up to this point, although Tom Glavine did his part for the Mets & Jeff Suppan for the Cards.

My Comments Weren't Directed at You, Charm...
...but since you've chosen to join the fray (which seems to be your goal in life)...don't you have some more juicy prurient bits of "almost" personal data you'd care to share with the world? We haven't heard the latest gossip about the personal lives of your clients. I'm sure you'll come up with something yet today. Also, I know it's early in the morning but surely there's someone you can label as "dumb"...take a shot at me if you'd like. It's also fairly certain you'll find time in your busy day to target another poster for removal from the board. Please note I'm staying away from politics & religion in this post, so I'm not fair game. The bottom line is Bob is a big boy & perfectly capable of handling AND dishing out criticism. Your editoralizing critiques are off the mark & inaccurate (nothing new), but the last time I checked the "Rules & Guidelines" you still have the freedom to be as wrong as you want to be (just don't mention God!). BTW, Bob's a legitimate "grandpa" & our oldest child is only 13. I wouldn't want you to be spreading any false information about my personal life!

Re: My Comments Weren't Directed at You, Charm...
Well there you have it. There is nothing like witnessing the self-evident proof of one's bitterness and hypocritical nature. Both Bob and Charm are Chicago fans... AND.... If it fits your inane predictions then its "the better team won", but if not...then the whole league is contaminated in some way? Last I looked, the score determined the winner, and in the same look, the BEARS WON! Who cares if the quarterback screwed up the entire offense...ITS A TEAM...and the defense whooped up on the pitiful Cards...more than making up for G'mans bad decisions and bad passing...period! I believe I also need to point out that your little 'digs' make you appear even more pitiful, as well as the vacuous void in your id that drives you to falsly assume that anyone would care to know anything about you personally. Can't medicaid help you out with the expense of keeping up your scripts? I feel you pain....

And who turned an innocuous post by an excited sports fan into a fray? That would be you. Pathetic, really.

Actually I Agree with Your Assessment...
...& I'd be the first one to call a halt to this "pathetic" exchange if I believed for a moment there was anything at all "innocuous" about Bob or Charm for that matter. Without a doubt there ARE certain individuals on this board who I believe start "frays" on a consistent basis & I'd have to plead guilty on more than one occasion, this being one of them. Mine are done in a calculated way designed to expose what I feel is the absolute hypocrisy of certain posters on the board. Others start their own "frays" (they wouldn't call them that because HEY, WE'RE RIGHT!) based on their personal bias towards certain individuals they either philosophically differ with or just flat out hate (i.e. FlaMac). The difference is I'm not a part of the politically correct gang of power brokers on the board who wield their power to silence & even have posters banished. I don't seek to have anyone taken off the message board & I don't make any attempts to influence Harry to do so. I'm not classifying Bob into this category, by the way. I don't know that he's had anything to do with FlaMac's banishment, but the hue & cry from the other gang members for FlaMac's head was deafening. Bob & I simply disagree politically & I take him to task for his NNA stands. I receive backhand slaps from him all the time & sometimes he just sets himself up too well to ignore. It goes without saying I've never seen a defense from you at all Al when I'm the one being "pathetically" hammered...not that I think I need or expect one to be forthcoming. It's my opinion this board needs a little leveling of the playing field every now & then. If it upsets the apple cart, then maybe it needs to be upset.

Re: Actually I Agree with Your Assessment...
just for your own edification, flamac was ousted not by any power I or other posters have. Harry received letters of complaint from companies. Since when do you think we control what the owner of the web site does? Give me a break already and go kick a dog or something.

I Find This to be a Rather Interesting "Explanation"...
...for FlaMac's disbarment from Notary Rotary. Maybe you're privy to some "gossip" I'm not, but I've never seen it posted on the NotRot message board by Harry as the "official" explanation. If it HAS been posted for all to see, I'll ask for your indulgence (I might even apologize!) regarding my next remark. Perhaps, just maybe, this is nothing more than semi-private detail about someone's personal life you're once again sharing with the world at large. It also begs the question (if indeed your hypothesis is true & I call it a "hypothesis" because you're NOT Harry)...WHY would you allow a signing/title company to railroad a fellow Notary from the board? Since when are you in agreement (as you tacitly are with your silence) that a "company" should even remotely possess that kind of sway? From my past learned experience if this were Bob_Chicago or CaliNotary who had been treated in this fashion by a COMPANY, there'd be a ruckus on the board the likes of which we've never seen. One might even be forced to call it a "fray" & a pathetic one to boot! BTW, this is not a criticism of Harry. I've said it before & I'll say it again...he's the owner & he can do anything he sees fit. If the shoe "fits" for the rest of you...wear it.
There! I've just kicked my dog!

You were done before you started....
I am truely mindful of my decision to cast aside the gentlemen's rules of conflict , and due hereby aver my apology to all, with exception of Dennis 'the Menace' BoredBooks.
Crusty irascible cantankerous cacogen doesn't even begin to isolate your real problem, It only assigns a name to the behavior of a seemingly hurt and confused old curmudgeon acting like a scourned and shunned little schoolboy. I am sure the isolation and loneliness you have endured throughout life for always being the weasle and never fitting in, has only acted as the catalyst for the fact that you were abandoned by your mother, and abused by your father at the tender age of 40 or so.... but enough about your personal life. You insist on constant iteration of Charm's devulging "semi-private detail about someone's personal life you're once again sharing with the world at large".. Being from the state of MO...I'm sure you wouldn't mind "showing me". I did not witness any semi-private details about her clients in the child-abuse post that you infer. I witnessed only the perceived hallucinations of said nondiscerned integrity from those whom would prefer not hear of such evil, or those whom could not bear the memory of incidents that may have influenced their own lives.
Moving on... You ask "WHY would you allow a signing/title company to railroad a fellow Notary from the board? Since when are you in agreement (as you tacitly are with your silence) that a "company" should even remotely possess that kind of sway"... I believe this has been discussed ad infinitum, but once again, the popular belief is that in moderated forums, it is prudent and beneficial, although regrettable, for the community to be pruned of certain individuals whom are either malicious or disruptive, promote illegal activities, or are just plain stupid. As you see, this pulls you back into the circle as a possible target, and acts independantly of your choice to say "God'.
As far as your "prurient" interest ? Do you even know what you are saying? I can think of several connotations of the word itsself, but am at a loss as to how you believe yourself to be using it. Certainly not in the sense of 'sexy' , 'lustful', or 'lusting'... therefore I am left with 'slippery' or' lubricious', or remotely having reference to some form of 'scatological' adverb. Granted, these last three synonymous terms seem to have some merit, but once again, it is simply a name for your behavior or your self-indulgent excremental verbiage that inflames anyone with common sense and a fourth grade education.
One last tip for you Dennis... Put your teeth in, and have another picture taken for your profile... and maybe a "man's" tie this time.
