E-Title Or Stewart Mortgage Play dirty!!!!!!!!

They called and hire me for Monday Edocs. Had nerve to keep calling until they found someone cheaper. This is not fair to the borrower or us!!!!!!! How would they feel if we called and cancelled if a better offer came along?

I called them yesterday to check on invoices from August 1st that I hadn't been paid for, Cynthia told me that I wouldn't be paid for those until the end of October or November. When I first did these jobs for them they told me they paid within 30 days, not 60 to 75 days! I won't do work for them anymore, Nobody should have to wait that long for their money.

I posted a query about e-title yesterday, and I am glad I declined their "offer".
The more I hear about them, the less I like them already.

I'm still waiting for payment from them for a modification I did on July 31. On my first call I was told the reason for the delay was that the loan hadn't closed yet. I told her I couldn't imagine why there would be any delay since it was just a modification of an existing loan and there wasn't any disbursement being made at this time. I finally talked to Cynthia in AP on my next call and she wasn't any more helpful other than to say that it would probably be Oct. 10 before my check will be sent. Her personal suggestion is to just not take any more signings from them till I'm paid. That is something I totally agree with her on. I had done a signing in Feb. & was paid in 14 days. The signing in July took 34 days to pay. Another signing in August took 53 days to pay. Looks like a new payment pattern is forming for this company. Don't know what's changed at this company but it's definitely not good for the signing agents.

You know a lot of these companies are using your money. Imagine you stop paying your bills for 60 to 90 days. But your income does not stop, pretty soon you have all thaat money stockpiled when you start paying your bills. Ask them if they expanded there business ? Maybe they should be sending us thank you notes for helping them with there capital investment while we wait for payment.

Best advise is do not do business with any company that does not pay in thirty days or less.

Because if they take longer THEY ARE USING YOUR MONEY !

Traci,
I scheduled one for them for Friday in Somerset County. I called them back and asked then what their cancellation policy was if I showed up and the borrowers refused to sign. She said 1/2 my fee. I told her to find someone else.
I have contacted almost all of my clients and made them aware that I do not take a partial fee if I go to a closing and the borrowers do not sign. Let some other schmuck do that job. I'm not walking out of the door without a full fee. I had 2 this week (in one day) that were edocs and the borrowers refused to sign. There are too many subprime deals going on and too many idiot brokers that think that the borrowers are really going to sign this crap.
