Excel Signing Services Deadbeat
I posted this the other day and it does not show up in a search for Excel Signing Services. Does anyone know why that would happen?
In an effort to save some other unsuspecting notary here it is again.
Anybody getting paid by these people? I'm not! I have sent emails and made phone calls. Now I just get voice mail to leave a message. They don't even have the decency to respond. Not a good sign. I got someone on the phone one time and he told me that the computer had gone down with all the payment information but all is up and running and check would go out. Did not happen and now I can't get a response. I called the title company that give Excel the job. They claim they are still in business. SO BEWARE if you get a call from Excel Signing Services in California.
PS. To answer Judith's question on the earlier posting: it has been 2 months but of course the no response it what is alarming.

Just got a call from Mark at Excel
He wanted to know if I was available for a closing tonight. I declined as I had one already scheduled for that particular time, but I took the opportunity to remind him that he still owes me $360 (full fees for three closings and $35 balance due on short paid invoices). The closings date from 05/11/06 to 07/05/06.
I am emailing the info to him for follow-up and will report back to the board if/when payment is forthcoming.

I have had problems with Excel at this time also. I am still waiting for payment as well when he usually pays the following month. It makes me wonder if the SS is in financial difficulty.
