Good morning. I am doing one of my first sellers packet and have a question about this form. I did research but want to confirm if the sellers should fill out only the individual entity top section about not being a nonresident alien. If it's husband and wife do they both have to sign or just him? Thanks in advance.

Fill out the top, check the box that applies about whether it's a personal residence or not... don't fill out the part about a corporate entity
Husband and wife must EACH HAVE THEIR OWN with respective TIN's.

I let them check also, if apply, " I am not a nonresident alien for purposes of U.S. income taxation.
