HP Printer
I bought a Hewlett Packard printer and am having trouble printing legal and letter simultaneously. I've checked the software, and my trays are listed with the appropriate size paper. I called HP and they inform me that I can't print both at the same time. I called Acrobat to see if they could help with the problem, and they also informed me that I couldn't print both sizes.
Now we all know it can be done - I've even done it myself with an old HP printer (that I returned to HP). Is there a software I can buy that will inform my printer of the job I need to do. As it stands now, I'm printing 4 sets of documents - 2 legal size and 2 letter size - combining them for 2 complete sets. This is crazy, expensive and time consuming.
HELP! Any techies out there?

Assuming your trays are properly set up in your printer settings, all you have to do is to be sure "Choose Paper Source by PDF page size" in the "Page Handling" section is checked in your Print dialog box. The pages should then print from the correct trays.
If that doesn't work for you, I would think that breaking up your print jobs would be your next best bet. For example, if the document is 80 pages and the first seven pages are legal, print pages 1-7 from your legal-sized tray. If the next 3 are letter size, print pages 8-10 from your letter-sized tray, etc. Don't forget to designate 2 copies, and check the "Collate" box, so you only have to go through the document once.
Hope that helps.
