Hotmail downloading problems

Hi, Sometimes I have trouble downloading from hotmail. The virus scan shows no viruses, but then I click in the download file button, the computer "thinks" for a long while, and then gives me an error message that the file cannot be downloaded. Sometimes this happens with Verizon, too.

What I do is forward the email and attachments to the opposite email account, and then for some dumb reason I am able to download and print the files. These are all .pdf files.

Any ideas on what the heck is going on with my computer? What other security features would prevent a file from being downloaded, even after virus scans clear the document?

I used to have a hotmail acct., I have since switched to Yahoo as a back up and have never had a problem

spend $19 and get a larger hotmail box......i have a 2gb box and can do files up to 20mb....i never have a problem downloading and printing......i do have 2 other e-mail accts just in case a system is down i can switch but so far have never had to do that.....i would say that about 65% of my packages are e-docs....hope you get it working......

Don't spend a dime ...

... get a Gmail account. It's free and 3GB (give or take) in size.

I use Yahoo also. 2 G and free. Never had any problems with receiving or downloading.
