I hate to bring up Flaskmac again but...

I have tried to register with the "other board" 3 times today to respond to her post and wasn't able to. I feel so strongly about this that I am bringing it up here.

Here it goes.
FlaskMac keeps blaming PAW for saying in a thread (I have searched all day for the # to reference with no luck) on Notary Rotary that he doesn't complete his notarization in front of the parties whose signatures that he is notarizing.

This is a big problem with her. Well dumb a55 that she is she can't remember what was really said in that thread. I was the one who said that I didn't do it, to save time, Paul (PAW) corrected me and told me I was doing it improperly. I said "Oh sh-t" I better fix that, and DID!
After that I read the manual about 10 times and made sure that I knew what I was doing. I had been doing something illegal and if Paul hadn't pointed it out to me I would still be doing it the same wrong way.

I feel bad that he has taken the brunt of her wrath, and I truly hope that his shining reputation has not been damaged by the venom that she has been spewing.

Please feel free to cut and paste this on the other board's thread so someone can point out once again the error of her ways. (Dang that is a full time job)

Paul, please accept my apology to you for being dragged into this crap. I want everyone to know that I personally have been helped many times on this board and over the phone by Paul. He has taken time out of his VERY busy schedule. In a way he has mentored me and has never asked for anything in return. This uncalled for repeated attacking is just another day in that crazy woman's head.

Bev, I for one think the world of Paul Williamson. He has contributed more to online notary communities than this crack pot ever did.

It doesn't matter that he has been dragged thru the mud by Flaskmac on another forum...her reputation and his speak volumes.

Thanks Paw for everything and making me check references. You're the best. And thanks Bev for pointing it out!

Re: I don't think you need worry, Bev

She slammed Becca and Sylvia in that same thread - she was on a roll and steamrolled anyone who crossed her path....

I'm surprised she's not being stifled...

You are right - Bev need not worry. Most notaries know FlaMac and her "reputation"
And I can assure you that Paul isn't losing any sleep over it.
I shouldn't have responded to her post over there, but I couldn't sit by while she spewed her venom. I really think she needs medical help.

Re: I don't think you need worry, Bev

I can't imagine her being a paralegal in FL or anywhere else. One of my pet peeves about attorneys is that they don't read notary laws in any state, they just do what they want, and the people that work for them think it's ok because it is an attorney doing it. I'm sure that is a contributing factor to her psychosis.

I think it's time to call the men in the white coats to pick her up and put her in a padded cell. A straight jacket becomes her.

Hey Title Gal, enlighten me...

not about flaskmac, uck... about notarizing in the presence of the signer.

I did exactly what Bev did, and like Bev was corrected and changed my ways. (I don't remember seeing anything in the manual, but didn't look that hard for that particular item)...

But as a Realtor, I've sat through more than a few signings at the Title Company (not naming names, but different officers and different companies)... I've NEVER seen a notary stamp come out while we were there. Never once. I've seen the journal, I've seen the thumbprint pad, but not the stamping of the certs.

P.S. As long as it records the BO and the Realtor could care less when the EO stamps it.

Glad I'm not the only one to noticed (during my RE age) no stamp ever appeared EO table during closing.

Re: Hey Title Gal, enlighten me...

When I bought my house in CA, the notary didn't stamp our papers and neither have any of our refis since. Now that I think about it, the notaries here didn't put us under oath either.
