Invoice payment growing llonger.

Has anyone else noticed that settlement companies and signing companies are pushing out there invoice payments too 45 days? Just wondering what anyone else is doing about it. I have even considered going to a COD system on those companies that can't pay on time. I am expected to be available 24 / 7 and have waited up to 7 hours for a closing to cancel. The least they could do is pay us in a timely manner.

Signing companies are notorious for delayed payments. If payment is not received a phone call or e-mail advising client you have contacted borrower and lender/title company to verify disbursement will usually help expedite payment. These companies do not want to lose larger clients.
