More on Mobiledocs
Jeannette Valenzuela and I agreed on a certain fee. Later that day, as I was on my way to the signing, I get a call from Chrissy Alvarado saying there was a mix-up in the fee we agreed to. She goes on to say that the fee they pay is $10 less than what Jeannette and I agreed to. I told her I only agreed to do the signing at the current fee and that I would have not accepted the signing otherwise. She says ok and agrees to my fee. I did the signing on 8/24 and received a check on 9/25. The only problem is that the check was $10 short. I e-mailed Jeannette about this and she promised to look into it. That was on 9/26 and I have not heard a word from anybody since. Live and learn. That was the first and last signing I do for Mobiledocs.
Definitely a deadbeat ss.

which mobile docs was this? i deal with one out of california with someone named corey. while i understand what happened to you, and will keep it in mind, i did want to say that i have never had a problem with them, and they pay promptly. maybe they will send you the $10.

Rafael it really is about more than the $10 isn't it?
I agree with you that it is the principle of the matter. You were lied to and they know it. Thank you for posting about this here. $10 or $100 it is still a rip off.

Did they send you a written confirmation for the amoutn?
If they did I wold do whatever to get the full fee promised, of course within the context of what it's worth to you personally. Sometime the principal is worth a lot more than the money. If they didn't put it in writing you can still go after it but I suspect you might not want to put as much effort into it.
