Re: What kind of signing......

Who forgets they are owed that amount of money? Don't you have invoices that tell you what the amount was for the signing, then put a date on it when it was paid? Even if it was three months ago, you should know if you were paid for it or not.

Geeze, that almost pays my rent!! I surely would remember that one. And also what are you going to do at tax time if you have it as one payment and they send you a 1099 for double that amount and by the way, how do you do your taxes?

Lisa, $500 almost pays your rent?Do you realize that if you're here in SF Bay Area, for $500 you could rent a whole outhouseSmile

Re: Thats pretty much what I live in!!:) JK

Yes, I am aware. I was in RE for 2 yrs and couldnt believe the rents and house prices in Cali. For a regular ranch around here, nothing fancy on a city lot, it would go for maybe $128,000. The same prop in Cali would go for $350,000. The rent on the other hand can be anywhere between $600 to $1500 and sometimes more. We live in a college town and personally I believe that the rent does not coincide with the income that is the norm around here. People are lucky if they make $8 an hour doing a skilled trade.

Sounds like you need to invest in and use a good book keeping system.

Re: Mystery Check - my guess is that brian aka
