NNA's deception ?

I have visited all five websites of the title companies that the NNA says are requiring BGCs and find absolutely nothing regarding the requirement or any mention of the NNA. It would seem to me that if this was to be required in the next 60 days, as the NNA would have us believe, these TC's would have it splashed all over their websites. Wouldn't it be good advertising for them to blow their horn on this one? At the very least, I would think that this topic would merit some mention on at least one of the five sites. Is it possible that the NNA is still trying to 'sell' the idea of a central monopoly to these TC's? Would this constitute a violation of anti trust laws if it were to come to pass? Lots of questions and no valid answers except from the anti trust violator's site. hmmmm

I spoke with FiServ this pm and was told that they do in fact do background checks on their personnel only. They stated that they were aware of the NNA's practice of taking advantage of what she called a "business opportunity".
She said the only thing that anyone could do is have enough people call and email and complain.

I have not been able to locate any other sites that may service the need for background investigations. It would seem that NNA does have the monopoly on this at this time and as long as there is no competition and no formal complaints they will continue to prosper on the backs of the "ignorant and the needy".

I have done quite a bit of business with NREIS and they have mentioned nothing regarding this new policy. I will look into the other mentioned websites to see what their policies are.
