November (end of month)

Any ideas on how the Thanksgiving time of year will be as far as business? What is the last day (EOM) for signings in November?

My hunch is Friday or Saturday, the 24th or 25th, depending on lender, for disbursement in November.

The Last Signing Day (LSD) for November 2006 will be Sunday, November 26th to allow for funding on Thursday, November 30th. (RTC expiration would be midnight, November 29th.)

As far as Thanksgiving upsetting signings, it most certainly does since lots of companies take a 4-day weekend. That is, they don't work on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which means that most loans will need to be prepared and scheduled prior to Thanksgiving. But, the signing or closing can certainly take place any day up to and including Sunday, 11/26. Of course, for loans that do not have an RTC, last day is the last day. That is, the 30th, for same day funding.
