OT:

does anyone here operate one of those store front or dollar stores online? I saw a few that are drop shipped type, where there is no personal investment. I looked at E-Bays program and wasn't impressed, but still looking at other opportunities. Is this another too good to be true?

I'm not sure about dollar stores. If you are interested in something of this nature, Go online to The Thomas Registar. There are lots of companys that will direct drop ship. Almost all charge a small fee of some sort. Setting up a quick website on godaddy or someone similar is quick and easy. You can also add affiliate advertising and make a few more bucks. Ebay is another avenue but the competition is stiff.

I had a drop ship web site from VSTORE but haven't done anything with it...they always seem to be a bit overpriced

What about the type-at-home programs? Are these all too good to be true too? I checked into one and one look at the BBB was all it took for a big fat no. I am looking for a way to add additional income too. I've got way too much free time on my hands when I could be making money doing something. Signings were a part-time job for me before I moved 3 months ago, and I am trying to make a go of it full-time, but even getting the signing services to realize my new address has been a huge challenge. I have changed my address everywhere, emailed the companies that I have done signings for and made some personal phone calls. I still get calls for my "old" area and not as many as I'd like for doing this full-time where I'm at now.

If you want a real business check out this link http://ld.net/?dsullivan You can join for free and you promote the products/services you want. Besides the communication products there is a store and travel site. let me know what you think.

Re: OT: Whatever kind of online store you decide on...

you will need to start building content for it. Otherwise, you do not get located by google.com.
