I'm not TG, but I had a closing tonight with two Chi's. One little guy had a broken leg and I was ever so careful to not step on him. They are cute little bugers. I miss her too, Blue.

Oh please, oh please write me with a great Chi story...I need some good news today! [e-mail address].

I have something to ask you too - worried about a constant and persistent cough...someone said "kennel cough" and my blood ran cold.

Sorry to butt in

But we just got a puppy (hubby's bday present) and when we got her home, she started coughing. We took her to the vet, he gave us the medicine and she seems to feeling better. I was just curious as to why your blood ran cold. Is it very serious? I don't know a whole bunch about dogs, but the vet didn't seem too worried about it. TIA

Re: Sorry to butt in

First, Chihuahua's are prone to throat and coughing issues because their breed and the anatomy of their throat. Most say it's just a passing problem. I'm worried that mine might have the genetic issue combined with "kennel cough" which can be serious. The two issues combined are what's worrying me.

However, even though I am a WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestant)....I'm better categorized as a full-on Jewish Mother. In other words? I worry too much.

(all generalizations are mine and are not intended to inflame or irritate any politically correct members, nor do I intentionally try to offend....with one exception. I laugh out loud at Don Rickles).

Re: Sorry to butt in

I hope your chi (was wondering what that meant) is and/or will be alright. LOL to the rest. I know what it's like to worry too much. We just got an American Eskimio (miniature) and she's doing better. She's adorable and feisty.
