OT- Latest request from my college kid
I have always asked my daughter to keep in mind things whe would like for presents at various holidays and occasions. She just added this to her wish list, ROTFLMAO, I guess one of the toy companies rolled it out, it stands up again so realistically!

Darn Teddy, now I'need two;-), one for my daughter and

Re: This year's HOT TOY Thanks Bob, I was wondering
where to get one. I suspect we'll have to act fast before they start gouging on the pricing.

Charles I have been looking since this summer
It is already one of those toys that are going to be on ebay next month for mega-bucks, IF you can find it. My Grandaughter want one, too, and I am going to be the heel who buys one for $300.

For those serious about it
Amazon has them for $147.00, there are about 80. I'll wait, my 15 month old won't know the difference.
here is the link http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-H9207-TMX-ELMO/dp/B000ETRE0Q

I am running for grandpa of the year ( actually my three....
grandchildren call me Gaga), but am not about to get into a fistfight at Walmart at 5AM for pay triple for a toy for anyone. The way these things usually work is that they will have them coming out of thier ears on about December 28. I will wait and give it to her for Groundhog day unless I get lucky and see one sooner. .

I bought one for my grand daughters. Waited at our local Walmart and when they brought them out from the back room I was the first to nab one. The cost was right around $32. Well worth the money. There are many being sold on EBay from what my daughter told me. Good luck trying to get one. The is still making them and trying to keep up with orders.

I have been thinking on this today...
Every year for a long time this same little scenario is played out.
You cannot tell me that the toy company cannot crank out enough each year to fill the bill.
Poor planning on purpose for some reason, obviously. This is like scheduling all my social life, cleaning and cooking same week as EOM. They don't plan to fail, just like we don't so I'll bet they can do this and sell higher to retail during the "shortage."
Sumpin' is a goin' on. No way this is not preventable.

I'm with you on this one. I don't plan on getting that toy until it comes down. The older 2 didn't suffer by not getting the very first Tickle Me Elmo, neither will the pumpkin. It is cute and hilarious though. Hokey Pokey Elmo is working just fine.
