Closings ... closings ... closings
The last day of the month is my busiest day. (Title closings on new home purchases.) It is much busier than LSD for refis. Maybe I'll wear shorts, tee shirt and flip-flops when I go to the title office. I can always say that I'm dressing up as a new home buyer!

Re: O/T...What are everyones Halloween Plans???
On the 26th of October I, and a few associates, volunteered for a haunted "house" at the Tsongas Arena located in Lowell, MA. My associates and I decorate the haunted "house" and dress up as scary characters. This year I was a ghost of a confederate soldier. I had a lot of fun!!
This year makes three consecutive years that we put together the haunted "house". Notice I put 'house' in quotations because it is actually a big locker room that we use to set up our props. It seems very stupid at the beginning, but once we shut off the lights and put on our strobes and black lights, it's awesome!
The staff at the Tsongas Arena have little festivities for the kids too. They have trick or treating, and a bunch of Halloween-like activities (bobbing for apples, etc.). Every single dime we (and Tsongas Arena) make goes to charity..... Kiwanis International to be exact.
A few “key people” of my network are required to volunteer…. Unless of course if they have a valid excuse!

Korey-That sound great!! Our church does something for the children in our area called "Trunk or Treat". Everyone parks in our two acre parking lot and decorates the trunks of their cars and trucks, dresses in costumes and passes out candy to all the kids. We live in such a rural area, the houses are not close together. So they get to have fun and get candy, and not have to walk 10 miles!!
Everyone have a safe and happy Halloween!!

I'm glad to hear this, Korey. My volunteer season starts next month and continues thru the end of December. I miss being on the board, but just can not accommodate meetings due to my crazy after hours schedule.
When it's slow in the summer, I vacation...and vacation a lot. When it's slow in Nov./Dec....I volunteer. I hope others take note of your contribution to society and will in turn do the same.

Re: O/T...What are everyones Halloween Plans???
We are going to walk around the neighborhood with a few neighbors and their lil ghouls, then go to church were they are having a trunk and treat. There's a big house on the corner that is decorated very well! It's the talk of the town, he has a horror movie playing on a screen that is placed over his open garage door, and all kinds of neat stuff. As you walk up his stairs, you step over a board that sets off a shrill scream and a body coming out of the lit, upright coffin. The first time I did that I almost had a heart attack! They just had their party last night, lot's of fun and loud music, the neighbors love it. The Monster Mash! Anybody got a copy of it on the web?
