I only know of a Prolink in San Jose. Don't know if they are still doing business, haven't heard anything from them since the first of the year. Is this the one you're talking about?

Yes this is the one I worked for (in Kentucky). Veda Chapman is the owner. I did a job for them a couple of months ago and still haven't been paid. I gave them until the end of the week.

Re: ProLink closings (Kentucky)

I've done a few for them (Kentucky, Veda Chapman) - they've been nice to work with, and I've had no quarrel with what they're willing to pay, but they are a very slow pay.

It's two sisters in business, so I can understand if cashflow is occasionally an issue, and I'm willing to wait 45 days or so to get paid as a result.

I haven't pushed the issue, but I'm about to - my oldest invoice is well over a month old now, I am hoping they aren't going to do the "the loan fell through so we aren't paying" thing; but, I'm going to ask, before I assume anything!

On a different topic, but slightly related: When a lender asked me to backdate for a borrower who originally came to me from ProLink, ProLink was *not* involved, and did NOT ask me to do that. The lender basically said "some notaries will do it" - so, they ask.

Anyway, so far, I like them. Just accept that they are a slow pay.

Yes, I did a job for him in August. He's a very nice (and knowledgeable) guy out of San Jose, CA. He paid well and early. His terms are net 30 and I received the check in 7 days. I would work for him again. It's a small signing service. He probably gets about 50 - 100 deals a month.

Re: very good and???

Ok, I called prolink as someone suggested they pay well. Gosh what do you consider low pay? He pays EXTREMELY low.
btw, what does N/M mean?
thx!

Re: very good and???

N/M means no message in the body response. Their response is in the title only.

I don't know what he quoted you, but Adam did pay me pretty well for what was a very simple, fast signing which was nearby where I live. Was I paid what I normally am for a refi? No, but he paid me more than what some much larger services have offered for similar signings which I have turned down.

Re: ProLink Signing Service in San Jose, CA

is not the same company as ProLink Closings in Kentucky.

Adam's web site is www.theprolink.com, not www.prolinkclosings.com.

Sorry for the confusion.

Adam is the greatest! Always pays, never a discussion over fees. Super SS. Do not hesitate accepting orders from them.
