Re: Teddog I got a call the other day, last minute call
of course e-docs. I have never worked for the company before, nor was I terribly impressed with staff on the phone. She stated in a somewhat cool tone I have a signing in so and so, I ask are the docs ready now, she says they should be soon. I never like that the docs aren't ready. Well, I'd say within 15-20 minutes the docs were sent, so plenty of time to print and it's 10 minutes away, no biggy. I print the first 2 files but the third file requires a password and guess what it wasn't sent, I call the office no one there, I look at the paperwork and yes there is a cell to contact a warm body, I call the someone, tell him I need a password, he asks wasn't it sent? I said well if it was I certainly don't see it in any of the documentation. His response let me call the TC and get the password, he does, calls me right back, ok done. While on the phone with the borrower going over directions, I now have the wrong address to the borrower's house. I just happened to still be on the phone with the office staff and the borrower at the same time. I tell office staff the address I have is the wrong address...the office staff states that "this sometimes happens in our business" with a tone I found unappealing. Now what bugs me about this, ss makes a mistake it's no biggy not even I'm sorry my error, yet the guidelines they set forth if we dare to make a mistake.... Oh and after the fact I realize they want faxbacks, I don't do faxbacks.....it was only a few pages so I did but of course no mention of this in the phone call when order was placed..... Another day in the life of one of thousands of notaries....
