RIP: Joe Schmo.....

I received an email on Sunday from "Mr. Joe Schmo" the Jack@$$ attorney who sent me threatening emails that I posted last monday.

Per our agreement of those emails, he was to pay me by Sat. 10/21.
When the check didn't arrive, I "cloaked" my phone number and called his personal cell phone. I said that his payment was not received. He was nice a peachy about " blah blah, it's been mailed, blah." I told him that IMO I think he was feeding me another line of bullshit.

Thought you might be interested to know that he sent me this email on Sunday morning:

i was with my family yesterday.. i seriously doubt that you would act the way you are if i was one of the big title companies or a major lender utilizing your services. fact is, be happy your getting paid.. the firm is weeks away from filing bankruptcy. i could easily just name you as an unsecured creditor and that will be the end of it. i chose not to do that with you. so you know what i don't need your nasty comments. i have enough on my plate feeding my family and paying my mortgage. Thank you and i appeciate your patience. Joe Schmo, Esq.

Not much of a surprise is it? When you run a business like that you are bound to have problems. Hope you get your money! Stay with it.

Years ago in another galaxy

as a young single Mom I took a job as a waitress at a Country Club. The members were all legal eagles, the worst tippers in the world and BTW, it's the only job I ever held that I actually was fired from. Attitude works both ways, always watch what you say to those you pass on your way up that ladder 'cause I promise you'll see them again on your way back down. Hang tough JB, consider the source.

Yes, JB

Don't you agree it is more improtant for him to feed his family and pay his mortgage, than YOU feeding YOUR family and paying YOUR mortgage?
