SOX-ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

OKAY HERE IS MY SOX STORY AND CONTINUING SAGA.

TROUBLE BEGAN WITH RECEIVING MY JUNE PAYMENTS(IN AUGUST ACCORDING TO THEIR PAYMENT SCHEDULE OF 60 DAYS). AFTER HOUNDING ACCTS PAYABLE MGR BRANDI SAUTERELLI EVERYDAY WITH DELINQUENT LETTERS VIA FAX,EMAIL AND VM, I RECEIVED PAYMENT(CUT THE 25TH OF AUG INSTEAD OF THE 1ST AND SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS). UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS TOO LATE AND I HAD 3 MORE JOBS TO COLLECT ON FOR JULY. SO I PROCEEDED WITH MY PERSISTANT METHOD OF REMINDER AND DELINQUENT MESSEGES CC TO DEBRA VLADIC CEO/PRESIDENT. THIS CHECK AGAIN SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS, BUT CUT ON THE 11TH ONLY PROBLEM IT WAS MINUS A JOB. SO I PROCEEDED TO HOUND HER UNTIL I WENT ON LINE TO "NOTARY ROTARY" AND TOOK THE ADVICE OF CONTACTING THE BBB.

IN MY LETTER I NAMED EVERYONE I.E. PRESIDENT ON DOWN AND CC'D TO BRANDI. BY LATE AFTERNOON BRANDI CALLED MY CELL,LANDLINE AND EMAILED!!!
HER VM'S WERE PLEASANT AND WILLING TO WORK WITH ME. BY THE TIME SHE EMAILED SHE TOLD ME IT WAS MY FAULT BECAUSE I DID NOT FAX THE REQUIRED "NTC" AND "NOTARIZED PAGES" PRIOR TO DROPPING THEREFORE MY FEE WAS "0". SHE DID SAY IF I COULD PROVE I SENT THESE PAGES SHE WOULD CUT THE CHECK.
I FAXED HER MY FAX TRANSMISSION PAGE SHOWING 15 PAGES,RESULTS "OK" AND THE DATE. I INCLUDED THE CONTRACT AGREEMENT ASKING FOR THIS PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED WITH THE FAX NUMBER IN WHICH THESE WERE TO BE SENT. THE TRANSMISSION PAGE SHOWED THAT NUMBER WAS CORRECT.

STILL NO PAYMENT AND I'M NOT GIVING UP. IT IS THE PRINCIPLE. I ASK EVERYONE TO PURSUE THEIR PAYMENT. I AM FILING COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB AND NNA.

IT AIN'T OVER UNTIL THE FAT LADY SINGS AND I HAVEN'T HEARD HER YET!

You may want to change your typing from all caps. It's VERY hard to read, and others will tell you that it means you are shouting.

Will do, but you need not be so offended, it is just a choice of using upper or lower caps.

Cut back on your caffeine

I believe I nicely said "you may want to...". You'll get blasted by others.

I took no offense, I just said it was hard to read.

Caps are off! And so is Sox!

Sheesh.

Dont leap at someone for requesting to type in proper case. It's in the Rules and Guidelines, click above to see for yourself.

"Do not TYPE IN ALL CAPS. THIS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING and has been proven more difficult to read than Mixed Case."

Lesson #2 - DON'T WORK FOR SOX! <--Intentionally Upper Case.... Shouting is the point. lol

Re: Sheesh.

Wasn't shouting and Betsy was very polite I do apologize. Missed the upper cap rule in the guideline and left it on out of laziness.

Thanks for the info. Won't happen again.

Terminated my contract with Sox and they and upper case letters are out of my life.

Yes you did and I'm sorry for barking at you.

It was more laziness than ignorance, I just left the cap lock on.

Let them blast it is only Caps.

Sorry everyone, it's called venting and you all got the bunt of it. Unfortunately for all of you I never considered Caps as a form of shouting. I normally don't shout just speak with a serious tone. Is there a difference?

Amy...

From the NotRot Rules & Guidelines (look above for the link):

II. Netiquette

1. Do not TYPE IN ALL CAPS. THIS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING and has been proven more difficult to read than Mixed Case.

Please, cut back on your caffeine intake and your attitude.

Re: Amy...A quick note

Hey it's me Amy, Thanks for the forgiveness. I hadn't had my coffee and my netiguette was nowhere to be found. I am still working on my profile and therefore the name change.
Betsy was actually a doll and very polite and when I am wrong I am wrong.

Normally, my attitude is professional and my netiquette is better. Again always an apology when I act beneath proper behavior.
Best to all

True. Hope everyone stands together against signing companies that take advantage of our work.
Amy was intense, Betsy was polite and SOX is crooked!

We Notaries do our jobs and as signing agents tend to pull a lot of rabbits out of our hats for these companies. The least they can do is pay us for our work.

Hey Teamies,

Lot's of dialouge about filing Claims against bad SS. I have a perfect and very inexpensive solution for dealing with deadbeat companies that don't pay. I had to file suit against two companies so far (Names not to be mentioned). In fact I will file suit everyday if necessary, and to do this I only pay an annual fee (in monthly payments of around $26.00)of under $300.00 per year. For that I get a law firm at my disposal who will represent me if necessary in any state in the U.S. and even in Hawaii, and Alaska. That's right for about $1.19 per day, I have my very own law firm to represent me for any legal matter that may come up. Even if it is personal or business related. Most of the time a simple letter from my lawyer does the trick, sometimes they make a phone call to get the point across. Along with my membership I get ID theft protection and REAL ID theft recovery if ever someone decides to take over my identity

This membership is the perfect combination to go along with our Notary business'. But what is best about it is that you can make GREAT money offering the memberships right along with your already existing Notary Business. The potential for another cash vein is INCREDIBLE. Just imagine when the deadbeat opens a letter from your lawyers office informing them that they are going to be sued for BIG $$$$$. You and I both know that they will not risk having to pay those big lawyer fees plus damages just because they don't want to pay a hundred bucks or so!

I suggest that everyone sign up for this service and get the incredible protection and law firms in your pocket. I'm serious you can call the law firm that you are assigned to everyday if necessary. Folks these are real law firms that have lawyers that specialize in may areas of law. Ok enough from me just go to this website and it will tell you everything you need. www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/randalllucas. Or you can drop me a line at [e-mail address]
