SOX posing as Fox Signing

Hello to all .. I usually don't post , but I wanted to share this laugh ... Sox called last night around 10:30 ...caller was speaking very fast .. I asked her the name of her company twice .. asked her to slow down , she said Fox Signing,( I spelled the name (Fox) back to her and she said yes) .. she offered me a low fee (65.00 edocs).. I declined .. quoted my fee she agreed(probably because they will not pay it anyway) .. get home and confirmation says SOX .. I have called , and emailed them to advised I decline .. no answer, no return calls , no return emails .. NO signing will be done by me ..lol

I am still amazed at the stunts they pull and in business for that matter. I cannot remember the last time they tried to call me.

thats why I didn't question the name .. because I know Fox Signing Service .. I'm going to contact the borrowers so they won't be waiting on me .. do you think I should explain why I've declined the signing

I wouldn't even contact the borrowers. You've left a message for SOX, let them reap what they've sown.

I'd be so tempted not to respond to SOX's email.
My reasoning:
I've agreed verbally to Fox Signing and I'm expecting a confirmation and edoc from them. If someone else sends me an edoc why should I bother? It goes straight to trashcan. Let them think their disguise trick worked. I feel sorry for the borrowers! Well...may be next time they will pick a lender/lo that doesn't go to SOX for a cheap deal. Or, may be the LO's will learn a lesson and not pick SOX again. Or at the very least SOX won't call themselves Fox again.

They have done that to me

and I let FOX know after caneling with SOX. FOX was aware of it but may be interested in the fact they are doing it again.

Re: They have done that to me

O really? Is there a real Fox Signing? I thought SOX came up with this cute sounding alter-ego Smile
Curious, how is Fox? G/B/U?

Re: They have done that to me

Right now a little slow paying me but I am not worried yet. If there is any confusion about who is calling I usually ask if its the animal or the smelly thing on my foot.

Re: They have done that to LOTS OF people and

the b.s. about 'invoicing correctly' is.... well, they have 3 different fax numbers to choose from. Which one is 'correct' this month is the one you didn't use. One of those numbers-- given on the website-- doesn't even work. This is their standard running refrain "Notary didn't invoice correctly." And, yes, they 'got me'. Paid after BBB complaint. And they've also tried that Fox trick on me, too. And a new one to watch out for: Fox Signing Solutions in New York... but they just say Signing Solutions. Beware!

SOX, NATIONS??

I fear for all of us. NO one will sign for them in my area and I gave in and have done two....now I fear I won't get paid. If I scream really hard they do pay as no one else will work them them. I will stick with all of you and no longer work for them. IT is so rude how they treat the NSA......and we are to be professional. They need to treat us as they want to be treated. Does anyone have trouble with Nations Direct?

Keep turning em down

If no one will work for the SSs, the TCs start calling.

TCs will not let the loan go unsigned.

You are not letting the brwrs down. You are waiting for the TC call.

Re: They have done that to me

I like that analogy. I believe the first time they called me they said they were from Fox, but I didn't know any better then.
