Signatures Plus

Has anyone had a problem with Signatures Plus out of CA? I did three closings for them in June and did not receive payment until late September. Everytime I called they had some excuse. I finally had to threaten to go back to the borrowers for payment and that got their attention. They also paid the lowest amount of any company I have worked for.

I got this from this board: to to the BBB.

I email my complaint and cc the company. My phone(both office and cell) rang off the line and email! Accts payable jumped to cooperate. Try it.

When they do pay you (after reporting to the BBB for me), I would go to their bank, they've bounced a check on me twice. I've gotten replacement funds, but still it was a hassle. I would've gone to their bank if there was one in my state.

It's a well known fact that they have cheated many notaries in the past. Its too bad many notaries don't know about this board and will be taken advantage of. They almost got me but I read the posts about them and when they called me, I told them to get lost.
