VERY slow payment
I see how some complain about payment issues. How would you like this one. Received a check today from the trust for FirstPlus Direct's bankruptcy case. I closed the loan on 10-2-1998 - no, that's not a typo. I receive a yearly distribution and an interest check. Interest today was $8.46. My check was for $64.02 - they say I've now received 74.85% of my fee ($175.00 originally).
Of course, most unsecured creditors receive almost nothing in bankruptcy cases so I'm not complaining.
