What a night
I had 5 appointments today. Out of 5, 4 of them canceled (due to numbers not working out) and the last one was a no sign (she needed 2500 out of pocket)
I have not had a night like this in years, guess they are pushing anything through and hope it works out.
and topping off 1 appointment for Monday is a wash already..

I really feel for you. Sometimes it just seems like a" batting zero," life. Then again it is like the sales profession...i"it's a numbers game". Don't let it ruin your weekend. Things have to and will get better. If nothing else count it all as a learning process. That is what I try to do when my apts. fold.

Liz I know its all part of the game, I have not had this bad of a night in a very long time. I think with the home prices going down in this area, refi's are going to get harder for folks who have just bought homes in the last 2 years and have very little equity or maybe upside down in some cases.

I had three appts yesterday, but only one of them cancelled.
Of the two that were left, the numbers were not as promised when the borrower sat down with me. I was in an office so both Loan Officers were nearby to field questions. Both of them said "oh, I had to increase the interest rate because..." or "because of your PMI I had to..." or "because we had to pay your taxes it changed the numbers". I can understand all that, but why don't they communicate beforehand with the borrower so I'm not sitting there trying to figure out what's wrong?
