Witness Signature

I am going on my 2nd signing in a couple hours. On a Deed of Trust/Mortgage I see there is a spot for a Witness Signature in front of the Borrower's Signature. Do I sign there as well as Notarize the Borrower's Signatures. I have taken NNA's Certification Course and can find nothing that relates to this.....

No, you don't need to sign there. That is only for states that require witnesses.
