any good wireless company?

I had lost calls due to poor reception this weekend and loss 2 contracts because of this poor Ciglar wireless. anything else with better reception in the east bay area?

I've had good success with Verizon, never lost a signal in the more than 8 years that I've been with them - even in Oakland hills or in Tilden Park

I like Verizon as well. I rarely get dropped calls and have been very happy with them.

I'm with you. I tried to get out of my contract today, but no avail. I'm really tired of the dropped calls, but my contract isn't up until Feb, so for now I'm stuck. I will be going with Verizon when it's done. They have excellent service here from what I've been told.

I have never had a problem with Cingular in So Cal, or Verizon when I was with them.

Then again, there is a cell tower about every mile or so on the So Cal freeways. My daughter, who's also in So Cal, has Sprint due to a contract with her employer and they are terrible - the reception, dropped calls, etc. She calls me from 100 miles away and I can't understand a word she says.

You need to check with people in your own area. I worked for a large telephone company and had a Cell site on a tower at one of my houses. Service is only going to be as good as the equipment that company has in your area. I live in a Verizon area for my land line, but they don't have very good cell service here, lots of dropped calls, I have Cingular now. Ask you neighbors and others in the areas that you drive to, like your borrowers.
