ever heard of& Florida rules

Anyone ever did signings for the "Central Florida Closing" Signing Co and is there a set standard in Florida that Title/Escrows only authorize signing for $150.00 and paying notaries only max $100.00?

Someone is pulling your leg or your wallet. Get real. Who is going to tell an independent contractor what to charge?

Can't say that I've ever heard of "Central Florida Closings".

The Florida Department of Financial Regulation does not regulate our fees. As far as I know, there is no state department that does.

I've done numerous closings and signings for Florida based title and escrow companies well in excess of $100. Someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

Thanks and I agree and I was caught at a soft moment. Keep an eye out for this company in Palmetto, Florida. He had another San Diego signing to do the next day 40 mi 1way for only $100.00 and apprantly he found another notary softy.
