loansignersinc
Got an email from them this morning saying that they sent it out to everyone in the area and whoever respnded fastest would get the call from them. Is it just me or is that ridiculous? I guess we didn't get it since we didn't respond for like 20 minutes. I have worked for them before and have had good luck. Talk about no loyalty. Any thoughts?

Closeline and DRItitle are doing that too and a few others that I can't think of right now. It's a no brainer to send out a mass e-mail and have responses with their bids. An even better way to 'earn' the money they slice out of our fees for the work we do. yawn....

PLEASE NOTE: We realize if you are not at your desk when this email is received that you may feel you are losing out on business opportunities. This can not be helped at this time. We have found that by using this notification system we have dramatically reduced the number of outbound calls our schedulers need to make and therefore our customers get better customer service because they reach live staff more often. Thank you for your interest in doing business with LoanSignersInc.com! If we are unable to do business with you now, we hope to do business with you soon!
Did not even read this part at first. There it is, God forbid it that they have to make more than one call eh?

Sure, the ones who are waiting around, sitting at their desk, are either not busy or at "work" (meaning their "day job" and not loan signing). But even those who are out and about would answer their cell phone if they can. I don't understand the "mass email" approach. If that's what they want to do, then you can also do it with "demon dialer" systems that can make voice calls en masse. Then someone can respond from their cell phone as needed. Technology is a wonderful thing if properly implemented.

PAW I think the approach they are using is called
"Herd mentality" not much imagination involved at all. Or, maybe they are just tired of getting turned down if you don't accept their low fees. lol To bad they haven't heard of Technology.

and while I'm on my soap-box...closeline should change their name to strungoutonaline....I've been called every day last week for a loan to close, they assumed I don't do anything, I guess. By the end of the week the borrower, me and the scheduler were all ticked off.

Yikes! I just got back from a signing, then off I go again. I didn't get the email. But do these folks think all we do is sit with "baited breath" at our land line and computer.
See, now I need a secretary and my (Very Own Scheduling Dept. WOW!!!) LOL
PS: I don't think so.

Just as an FYI we DO NOT ask for bids in our email. We agree with you that we felt that was unfair. We only ask for a reply if you can be available. HOWEVER notaries do chose to include their fee in the responses sometimes although it is not requested.

Although that's a great idea that won't work because you may already have an appointment scheduled on the day and time we are requesting!

Hi Erica,
I'm sorry you feel that way about our approach. The system was designed to give as much advanced warning as possible to notaries so that the notaries that can and will be available can let us know. In some cases, there may be 30 notarys getting the email, in other cases there are less than 5. Since most signings are usually next day or later it gives our staff the opportunity to see in advance and YES, past perfomance and relationship is taken in to consideration when notaries are chosen for assignments.
We keep records of all notaries we do business with and I can assure you, we are loyal to those that are loyal to us!
