I'll take it. Oops, can't afford it. And it snows there.
What a big house! How many kids were in your family?
It still is very attractive.

Re: my old home for sale...Missy

this was my home before I moved south four years ago. I truly loved the dining room, the home is in the woods and when it snowed it was like a postcard, deer everywhere. One of the fireplaces, (in the main room) was marble, that's where we partied and danced! The acoustics were awesome with the vaulted ceilings. Good times.

Re: my old home for sale...Yes, I'd like a 6 BR summer home

but you'd have to throw in Greg. You need a "Greg" to play cabana boy.

Hey Charm!

Great place and I know exactly where it is. Beautiful area, tons of trees! Gotta love the Forest Preserve!

Maybe somewhere in CA...

"price in line with CA"

If I could get that house on that lot for that price here I could flip it for about $400k profit... maybe someone will chime in from the Central Valley, but it looks like a deal to me.

Re: Maybe somewhere in CA...

probably Gary, all I know is that the only two fender benders I was ever involved in were on that driveway with that $^#%^# tree on the left during the ice over, I mean winter.

Oh... ice...

well that might explain a good bit of the $400k... have to re-evaluate... ice... no maybe not.
