LOL...just reading over the day here...

I see flacmac fell off the wagon again. Darn I thought she would make it this time....oh well, she's finally passed out. Folks, listen to the majority. Flacmac is a legend in her own mind and a dangerous one at that to your commission should you actually practice what she preaches. Good thing she's got a day job, she needs to ask one of her lawyer buds what UPL is.
and keep her E&O current.

Do not pre screen your borrower's loan with them on the phone...period. She is a lawyer wannabe and can't determine where the notary job stops and the attorney wannabe starts.

Charm, I know some folks read these boards and think

certain people are being picked on. I don't have time for that.
What I do have time for is to try and keep it real.
If someone comes on here and puts out wrong information and continues to try and make everyone that corrects them look like the bad guy maybe they are the ones with the problem.

Learn your Notarial laws for your state. Learn how to be a successful signing agent from this board, but take it with a grain of salt. Nobody is going to accept it when you make a mistake and try to tell them "Well I read it on Notary Rotary".
Please don't be mislead by some of the posters on this board and start believing that everything you read is okay to do!

Be careful out there, its your commission and your reputation!
