Any opinions about NNA's Payment Collection Service
I have couple of payments pending from companies like ESS Network, Notary Express and Signatures Plus. Is it of any use to hire the Collection Agency of NNA. Are they any worth?
Also, ESS Network tells me that since the loan did not close - he cannot pay me. Is it standard to not get PAID if loan does not close. I have started asking SIGNING Companies to pay me by PAY PAL - after the signing and before I send the packet. Any suggestions??

Yeah, be prepared to lose all of your signing service business. And don't even think of holding the docs hostage until they paypal you some cash.

What are the responses? I've had several that use PayPal,
and it workes great.
Another idea is to offer a 'discount' for PayPal or Credit Card payments as an incentive. Say 2%. Worth it to me for the convenience, promptness, and ease; benefits the SS by keeping their Payables down and provides a slight savings (result - those savings add up...)
Those SSs that have positive cash flows and can pay-as-you-go, are financially strong IMHO, and in it for the long haul. Supports the policy of paying for professional services regardless of funding.
The more SSs that pick up on this, the better for the industry, I say.
Cheers, Susie

If your payment was not conditioned upon the loan's not closing at the time that you entered into the agreement to accept the assignment of the work, and you properly performed the work...your client can not legally withhold payment from you. Your client can not impose new terms of the agreement subsequently.
