Harry: Delete feedback forum

Since the feedback forum has not been maintained for several months, I suggest deleting it; features of web sites that don't work are an embarrasment.

Where is the feedback forum?

It is not on the tabs at the top here so where is it? (I know, I could noodle around until I find it -- my point is that it would get more use if it were easier to find.)

Instead of deleting it, how about promoting it?

Re: Where is the feedback forum?

Really should be made easier to locate.
If you scroll down and click on the Contact Us page and then scroll down you will see a link to the Feedback Forum.

Re: Wow...that really DOES need a tab -

I think Harry hid it because he was sick of MoMos posting messages that should be posted on this board. Messages like,, "I'm new, how do I get started?"

NR History on the tabs

Back in the day, there was a tab for companies seeking notaries for work, the feedback forum and the notary talk forum.

Re: Where is the feedback forum? Why Tim...

so you could have another tool to promote your chosen website?

I think this site might be like other sites, Gerry, in that if you have a paid membership the feedback posts and the emails to the staff are elevated rather quickly for attention.

Any time I contact them via the contact us info / email box I get very quick feedback from Harry or Traci.

I look at the feedback forum as a place to hang a public complaint and suggestion for later review when changes are being made to the forum...while the other methods are private complaints to the management which get reviewed rather quickly.

Even if the feedback forum is working as intended, it looks like it is being ignored, and this appearance detracts from the overall impression made by the site.

Re: Harry: Delete feedback forum - Gerry, are you saying

that the NR staff should respond to each post on the feedback forum so that it doesn't look ignored? Or that they should act on the entries? I guess I don't understand what the problem is with it. It's practically hidden from view so I am missing how it's detracting from the site.

I don't care one way or the other...just don't quite get what the problem is or how it affects me negatively.

Re: Harry: Delete feedback forum - Gerry, are you saying

A concern I always have with online businesses is whether I will be able to easily contact them if I make a purchase and there is an issue. I actively look around for what the feedback mechanisms are, so I'm apt to find things even if they are not very prominent. If it looks like feedback is ignored, I'd be tempted to shop elsewhere.

I realize there isn't really a problem with Notary Rotary; I've ordered supplies with no problems. I'm just talking about the impression that the first-time visitor will get.
