How to complete notarial wording?

Hey guys, got a closing today, and I don't understand a portion of a notarial certificate wording.

On the ( 23rd ) day of ( April ), in the year 20( 07 ), before me personally came ( Client name ) to me known to be the individual described in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and acknowledgement that ( ?????????? ) executed the same.

What goes in the blank with the "?" marks?

The only thing I can think of is if its a male then it would be "he" and if its a female then it would be "she" or if its two people then it would be they. Please someone correct me if I am wrong. I dont want to give the wrong information.

Re: You personally train all document signers and you don't

I'll keep my sly you know what remarks to this post, to myself!!!!! But to answer your question Carolyn, no I didn't know the answer of hand, as I'm sure you come to this open forum for advice yourself. Sometimes we second guess ourselves, and turn to other "professionals" for advice, even if it seems to be the obvious for others. It's people like you who are so high and mighty to not ask the right question, and go out and make unnecessary mistakes. But thanks for the remarks Carolyn! :^)

Re: You personally train all document signers and you don't

I am sorry WINotary but Carolyn is right. This is from your profile out there for everyone to see.

"I know what to look for, what generally tends to get missed, and what is imperative in the signing of loan documents. I know exactly what it takes to close the loan. I personally train all our document signers and highlight what is important from a closers point of view."

So what do you tell your signers to put in "?" section. Someone who trains others to sign these vital docs should be well aware what goes in each section like the back of thier hand. A question on a new doc or something you have never seen before understandable. Basic Notary practices though.... I am not trying to be callous.
