I love my Minnesota borrowers
After reading all of the horror stories about less-than-desirable working conditions, I'd just like to applaud my Minnesota borrowers.
- My work surface is almost always a completely clean and empty kitchen/dining table. - I've never had a borrower open the signing set of documents when the docs are shipped straight to the borrower. They just have them ready for me all sealed up when I arrive. - They always have current ID ready. - About 75% of the time, I get offered a drink, which I always decline for fear of spilling on the documents.

Re: Minnesota borrowers
Sharon, you just described what is known as "Minnesota-nice'. Seems everyone in Minnesota is that way most of the time. Remember the character on the Golden Girls played by Betty White? She was a perfect example. As a former Minnesotan, I have deduced that it's something in the water up there. Having moved far, far away from the icy tundra many years ago, I am no longer as nice as I once was

Sharon, That's my experience in Texas about 85% of the time...albeit the nice places exist out in the sticks and on open roads at times.

Hey, I'm not saying the borrowers house is always in a convenient location! I serve the city/sticks edge north of Minneapolis, but I much prefer a longer traffic-free drive to a shorter stressful one. And it's nice to hear "drive safe" when you leave the bwrs' home!
