Is this a "MoMo"?

Lender (CW) rejected the RTC due illegibility of the date by the borrower's where 23 looked like 27. SA was asked to go back out to get BO resign with specific instruction & example of how the lender wanted RTC to be dated. Lender instructed to leave the transaction date as 23 and RTC would expired on the 27 based on the new date of 24 which the BO resign. I'm not sure if this will or has been across the board with CW, I think back dating of any sort is no longer allow based on written instruction I read from central funding for the past couple resign of just single doc in the package.

Back to the above - SA neglected to follow instruction both verbally and written email from me. He had BO signed 3 copies with 3 different date formats. He failed to follow the instruction given with clear example of the form, did not fill my request of faxing before shipping, and the RTC was rejected again b/c he resigned with the original dates. It's EOM, I was a calm nervous wreck hoping this deal won't go sour. I called to inform him of the error and urgency of the matter. I did not get an apology for the mistake, but a fussy retaliated voice where he decided to decline another signing I'd booked with him the day before. Long story short, the RTC look ok from his creative scanned & attached (image in MSword) via email instead of a real fax.

This SA is no stranger, but someone local; who I've met, who wanted to network, who I've given referral. All the while, I did not get an apology for the headache he caused, but an email wanting me to pay for the extra trip on top of the agreed fee.

Is this what you call a "MoMo"?

Re: Is this a "MoMo"? Nope. Get it straight, Andy.

That was definitely a JackBag-ScatHead with a faux-MoMo feather boa. (Fussy voice, retaliatory tone = ScatHead. Wanting the trip fee=JackBag. The guy was obviously wearing MoMo styled clothing, though.)

CW called me last night at 8 to do an email signing at 9. I was at a restaurant half way through dinner and a second glass of wine. So where are the Docs I asked? He replied he was still waiting for them! I suggested he call another Notary. End of conversation. Did anyone reading this get that assignment?

Regarding MoMo...

Why do you have to pay anything. Wasn't this a referral?

If I understand your question, correctoy Andy runs a first class signing service which pays better than most ----IMHO.

I guess he forgot to mention it in his profile.

Re: Is this a "MoMo"? Joe

It's been discussed in this forum and it not a secret.

Do you really want him to mention it in his profile?

Wouldn't we all rather that SSs pay an extra fee to advertise in the SS section of this website?

AS I understand it, he is one of the *few* who abide by the advertising rules here.

So Harry when a client uses the NotRot "find a Notary" feature who actually does the notarization?

No B I must have missed that discussion, I guess I should have used the orange search button. Would that be listed as signing service owners we like or signing service owners that treat us like cattle.

Slow morning & lots of EOM cancellations. Lucky I have other irons in the fire.

Dunno. I am sure Andy will chime in here eventually to enlighten us 'bout that.

Could you rephrase the question?

Re: Joe

He gave me the address but said he did not have the docs to verify the zip. I would have needed that zip to visualize the location from the dinner table. did you accept it?
