There are some excellent minds involved with the site....some good reading if you look closer. I'm all about associating with folks who can help grow our business. I don't "Hang out" there but I will visit often........

Re: Take it or leave it n/;m
You're suggesting a website to us, there is virtually NO information on the link you've given, and the only thing you can say is "take it or leave it"? You care enough to tell us that the site exists, but you can't be bothered to tell us anything about the site itself? Bizarre.

Isn't this advertising?

Re: Isn't this advertising? Well, maybe not ...
as one might consider advertising. Advertising usually gives some information to compel one to action. The guy may be a genius but I still don't know what the site is about nor why I might be interested in going through a log-on procedure to find out. So as with most stuff insisted upon by charismatically challenged individuals I'll just leave it.

Re: Isn't this advertising? Well, maybe not ...
Chuck, I sold advertising (Radio, TV, Cable & Print) in my former professional life and I know what advertising is. I'm not talking about a call to action here; I'm talking about the Rules & Guidelines of this site. I think we all know that the sly Scott (a SS owner, btw) is touting his ning site and Jissem supports it regularly. Now, Jissem is directing the NotRot readers to another ning site.
I'm not saying...I'm just saying.
IMHO, of course.

I may be wrong, but I believe I read somewhere that Scott no longer had a signing service.

Sylvia, he said so, but do a search and you'll see...
the truth.
You can post or state anything, but his ss name is still all over the place and I seriously doubt that he is turning business away. JMHO.

Re: Isn't this advertising? Well, maybe not ...
Advertising of any sort is an inducement to purchase goods or services. How in the world can you call something advertising if nothing at all is being sold? A free site where participation gives you great information, is fun to participate on and where you are not solicited (other than the links found on most sites supported by google-which by the way you don't have to click) seems harmless. Even if someone had a profit motive...OH MY GOD (imagine that!!)... why would it or how would it adversely affect anyone here. I've heard of uptight busy-bodies, but you folks really need to get a grip and let free speech work. AND: For the record, you are all here to make money, aren't you??..... hypocritical!

Re: Ning
There are 2,759 ning websites. This Management has nothing to do with Scott. This is what ning is http://www.ning.com/about/about-us.html
