OT - Advemtures in mentoring

There are a number of NSA who contact me from time to time
regarding advice on NSA issues.
Received a call recently from a NSA at a signing
Told me that bwr had an ID that said John Jones.
Docs said John William Jones and that is who he said he was.
She thought that it was not ok to sign unless he could produce an
ID or a CW that showed that he was, in fact, John William Jones.
Told her that it was ok to sigin since he had established that he is
John Jones by ID and identified himself as such. Middle names , of course,
do not count . Does not matter what the dox say.
She called me a little later to say that he had signed the RTC in the
"I wish to cancel " spot in error. She said that she was just going to have
him sign one of his copies and wanted to know if that was ok?
I , of course , told her that according to the law, once the bwr signed that
they wished to cancel, then the signing had to be stopped . If the bwr
really wanted to proceed , he needed to wait at least 4 days, and then
reschedule with new dox.
Jeesch. How can people do signings withuout knowing the rules.
BTW, I can't find my calendar. What day is this?
